"Life consists not in holding good cards but in playing those you hold well."

Well said. How was it possible when someone having all the trample cards on hand, yet the player with the entire bad cards is able to win the game.

Why?
Cos he’s a good card player?
Maybe.

But what really works is, he knows the key to win any difficult situation.

Problems are never really problems. They are just challenges to bring some excitement into our daily life.

4 steps when you are dealing with challenge.

Step 1: What is the challenge? And why/what do you think has causes it?

Step 2:
Lay downs all facts / figures of the situation. Write them down on a piece of papers.

Step 3:
What are ALL possible solutions that can be used to handle this challenge. Write them all down, no matter how silly they appear to be.

Step 4:
Filter, think through and select the BEST solution. And GO DO IT! Don’t just hang around waiting for things to happen! MAKE THEM HAPPEN!

Most of the time, people make mistake by making a decision too fast when they are facing difficult situation. Therefore its important for us to claim down and look at the challenge for a 3rd person point of view and analysis the situation so that we will NOT make the wrong move.

Learn to play with the bad cards in the game of life; they’ll help more than having all the goods cards every time.

God has a plan for every man. And he give the man who goes thru the worst situation the most difficult tasks not to break him; But to forge him to a character of might and strength.

God has a big plan for me.

THE INTERVIEW WITH GOD

I dreamed I had an interview with God.

“So you would like to interview me?” God asked.

“If you have the time” I said.

God smiled. “My time is eternity.”“What questions do you have in mind for me?”

“What surprises you most about humankind?”

God answered...“That they get bored with childhood, they rush to grow up, and then long to be children again.”

“That they lose their health to make money...and then lose their money to restore their health.”

“That by thinking anxiously about the future, they forget the present, such that they live in neither the present nor the future.”

"That they live as if they will never die, and die as though they had never lived.”

God’s hand took mineand we were silent for a while.

And then I asked...“As a parent, what are some of life’s lessons you want your children to learn?”

“To learn they cannot make anyone love them. All they can do is let themselves be loved.”

“To learn that it is not good to compare themselves to others.”

“To learn to forgiveby practicing forgiveness.”

“To learn that it only takes a few seconds to open profound wounds in those they love, and it can take many years to heal them.”

“To learn that a rich person is not one who has the most, but is one who needs the least.”

“To learn that there are people who love them dearly, but simply have not yet learned how to express or show their feelings.”

“To learn that two people can look at the same thing and see it differently.”

“To learn that it is not enough that they forgive one another, but they must also forgive themselves.”

"Thank you for your time," I said humbly.

"Is there anything else you would like your children to know?"

God smiled and said, “Just know that I am here... always.”

The thing that is really hard, and really amazing, is giving up on being perfect and beginning the work of becoming yourself.

It's known that Virgo are perfectionist. Giving up being perfect ? That a thought. Of cos there are times where perfection is not possible. Often it may stir up some unrest feeling. There are always times when things arent in our control. Be it.

Just know that we have tried and done our best. And that is enough. Things that may appear perfect to us however may not be so to others Who cares? As long as i feel good abt it. =)

God grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change,
the courage to change the things i can
and the wisdom to know the difference."

If my mind can conceive it, and my heart can believe it, I know I can achieve it.

Nothing is really impossible. If only u try. When the mind and the heart is able to focus on the task, nothing can stood in the way. Focusing is the key. Let no other thoughts disturb your state of mind.

Thou shall not doubt in his heart, and shall believe in whatsoever he saith.

The greatest barrier to success is the fear of failure.

- Sven Goran Eriksson.

Indeed. Men always hasitate to act, for the fear of failure always glue us to the spot. The fear of failure is always what hold us back. Should i try? what happen if i fail? What do i do? Will i be able to cope? All the self-doubt Qs will ring into our head.

FACE IT MAN! If you never try, you will never know the answer! Nothing come easy in this world. In every failure, a seed of success is planted in our life-path. Get up on your FEET ! Try again! Failure is nature's plan to prepare us for great responsibilities.

Success is not about how good you are, or how well u do. Its' about how high you BOUNCE when you reaches the lowest pit.

Give us this day our daily bread

" Take therefore no thought for the morrow; for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. "

Worries. We all do have worries. Sometimes we are worry about our families, our friends and close-ones; other times we are worry about things that may go wrong.

We always worry due to our past; we always worry for our future.

SHUT THE DOOR !
CLOSE THE WINDOW !

Block off your past; Look not too deep into the future.
What had passed, is past;
What yet to come, has not come.

Focus on Today! For Today has come, and yet is has not pass.
Live as if you'll die morrow. Die to know that you'd lived your life fully; without wasting a single day; hour; minute; second.

Give us this day, our daily bread.
Let not worry abt tmw bread; and forget abt yesterdae one.

If you don't make mistakes, you aren't really trying

- Coleman Hawkings. American jazz musician, 1904-1969

Man always make mistakes. Its mistake that make us learn. We learn from the pain of the mistake we made. It will left a scar behind, to remind us not to repeat it again.

Man who make mistake but never repeat them are wise.
Man who make mistake and keep repeating them are fools.
Man who never make any mistake are junks. They never try. That why they dont make any.

To conquer fear is the beginning of wisdom.

- Bertrand Russell. English Logician and Philosopher 1872-1970

All man love fear. We hold onto fear like some precious gem. We are afraid to face them. Afraid to lost them. Afraid to let go.

Fear:
Fear of failure
Fear of lost of love ones
Fear of Rejection
Fear of the unknown
Fear of death

etc etc
We all have fear of some form or another. It take strength and pain to confront our fear.
Only when we experience enough pain; pain that hurt sooo much. Then only we no longer fear. For after the pain, we found strength. The strength to change our current state. The strength to stand up on our feet. The strength to a total new believeth; a total new me.

The Search

When we're incomplete, we're always searching for somebody to complete us. When, after a few years or a few months of a relationship, we find that we're still unfulfilled, we blame our partners and take up with somebody more promising. This can go on and on--series polygamy--until we admit that while a partner can add sweet dimensions to our lives, we, each of us, are responsible for our own fulfillment. Nobody else can provide it for us, and to believe otherwise is to delude ourselves dangerously and to program for eventual failure every relationship we enter.
- Tom Robbins. American Novelist. b.1936

In other words, happiness lies in our own hand, not in the hands of others. Never never allow others to gain control of your own happiness.
The kingdom of heaven is within you.

Progress is man's ability to complicate simplicity.

- Thor-Heyerdahl. Norwegian ethnologist, 1914-2002

Man thoughts are always complicated. A simple thing / issue / situation will always be complicated by man. Man will always try to look at the issue over and over till he's satisfied with the "thoughts outcome".

Making a mountain out of an ant hill? Maybe. Maybe not.

Love must be learned, and learned again; there is no end to it.

- Katherine Anne Porter

So much for love. Each and everyone of us have to learn how to love someone. Love is never abt returns. Its always giving. Learning how to love someone without any hold back ; without any jealousy; without any others thought is not easy.

Just like the quote "Love like You never been hurt before, Dance like no one is watching". To love in its purest form is to bath in happiness. For you will know that no matter what happen; the other party is happy; and that make u happy... ...

The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them.

- Mark Twain.

Good Books to read:

1- Good to Great: Why Some Companies Make the Leap...and Others Don'tBy Jim Collins
What it teaches us: "Can a good company become a great company, and if so, how?" Collins and his researchers undertook a five-year project to answer this question, putting over 1,400 companies and their executives under the microscope. The obvious answer to the first part is yes. The second part ( the "how") takes a bit longer to explain, but it's worth your time.
That isn't to say the solution has to be elusive -- though it is to too many companies. We learn there is no overnight, good-to-great transition for a company. But a disciplined company with a disciplined team can make it happen. Here, you'll discover (in whichever professional role you play) your part in the mix and the steps you need to take.
Clever quote: "When you combine a culture of discipline with an ethic of entrepreneurship, you get the magical alchemy of great results."

2- How to Swim with the Sharks Without Being Eaten Alive: Outsell, Outmanage, Outmotivate, and Outnegotiate Your CompetitionBy Harvey Mackay
What it teaches us: If you cloned Garrison Keillor with Tony Robbins, you'd get Harvey Mackay. Mackay, a Minnesotan, offers examples of life lessons rather than hollow advice. And like any Midwesterner worth his salt, he tells the anecdotes from a humble, occasionally self-deprecating perspective. We realize people respond differently to various styles of motivation and examples of success stories. To die-hard followers of more traditional success and motivational stories, Mackay may confound a bit, but the lessons are valuable.
Among those lessons: Planning, calculated execution and persistence are among the keys to professional survival. Throughout the book, Mackay relies on his own experience with an early company he owned to stress that working hard is just as important as working smart.
Clever quote: "It doesn't matter how many pails of milk you spill, just so you don't lose the cow."

3- Who Moved My Cheese? An Amazing Way to Deal with Change in Your Work and in Your LifeBy Kenneth Blanchard, Ph.D. & Spencer Johnson, M.D.
What it teaches us: Like Harvey Mackay's How to Swim with the Sharks, Spencer Johnson and Kenneth Blanchard took the road less traveled in developing their work and created a much lighter read than conventional deep thinkers. This is the story of two mice, two mouse-sized people and the cheese they treasure.
Actually, the cheese here is a metaphor of life's tangible and intangible achievement goals. We're taught that as we pursue the cheese through life's maze, we have to expect the cheese will randomly disappear and reappear elsewhere. Likewise, we must learn to roll with personal and professional challenges while remaining focused on our goals.
Clever quote: "When you come to see 'The Handwriting on the Wall,' you can discover for yourself how to deal with change, so that you can enjoy less stress and more success (however you define it) in your work and in your life."

4- One Minute ManagerBy Kenneth Blanchard, Ph.D. & Spencer Johnson, M.D.
What it teaches us: One-minute goals, one-minute praisings and one-minute reprimands are core lessons of this Blanchard & Johnson classic, but it also stresses the importance of valuing employees. It may be 25 years old, but the information is still relevant and useful. It's a shame, then, that so many managers have forgotten these lessons and stopped treating their employees as the book suggests.
If you're feeling a little self-conscious right about now, a reread is in order. Once you reacquaint yourself with this book, you'll again realize how a job well done by your employees begins with inspirational and responsible management by you.
Clever quote: "People who feel good about themselves produce good results."

5- Built to Last: Successful Habits of Visionary CompaniesBy Jim Collins & Jerry I. Porras
What it teaches us: Several years before Good to Great, Collins and his crew presented their findings of another multi-year study focusing on how great companies maintain their staying power.
When comparing the 18 "visionary" companies featured in the book with lesser competitors, Collins & Porras found that these successful businesses all contained intelligent leaders who were unafraid to take risks and build upon success. These visionaries hold firm during setbacks and feed off the momentum of their successes, maintaining focus on a centralized tenet.
Clever quote: "Indeed, all of the visionary companies in our study faced setbacks and made mistakes at some point during their lives, and some are experiencing difficulty as we write this book. Yet -- and this is a key point -- visionary companies display remarkable resiliency, an ability to bounce back from adversity."

6- You can negotiate anything by Herb Cohen
7- Feel the fear and Do it ANyway by Susan Jeffers
8- The 7 Habits of Highly effective people by stephen Covey
9- In search of excellence by tom peters
10- awaken the giant within by anthony robbins
11- the complete Anthony RObbins library of PowerTalk
12-wishcraft by barbara sher
13- do what u love, the money will follow by marsha sinetar
14- sell your way to the top by zig zigler
15 - Talk to Win by Lillian Glass

Treat people as if they were what they ought to be, and you help them to become what they are capable of being.

This was a saying by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. A German Playwright, Poet, Novelist and Dramatist.

The more the number of people we help, the more it will grow into us. It seems that the fastest way to learn something is always by teaching others. =)

Holy Spirit Rain Down

Holy Spirit rain down, rain down
Oh Comforter and Friend How we need Your touch again

Holy Spirit rain down, rain down
Let Your power fall
Let Your voice be heard
Come and change our hearts As we stand on Your word
Holy Spirit rain down

No eye has seen, no ear has heard
No mind can know what God has in store
So open up heaven, open it wide
Over Your church and over our lives
