Pointers

This is what i learnt from my company retreat@Phuket

A good leader required these 3 points:
1. to serve to lead
2. S.M.A.R.T
3. able to work well with others

A good leader must be able to shoulder responsiblities. To take on jobs/tasks that no one else wanted to do aka *Get your hands dirty*

A good leader must be able to lead. To lead does not mean staying in the lime light, but to choose your apprentice who's even better than you. You will need him/her to rise up to take on your role or even higher when the calling come.

A good leader must be able to work well with others. We are only one by ourselves; and we can only do this much. But when we join hands, the tasks that can be done begin to multiple by 10, 20, even 30 folds.

Above all, a lead need to be able to have D.R.I.V.E to have passion for the work and to be able to inspire others.

As iron sharpens iron,
so one man sharpens another.



The naive me use to think that life has everything planned out. Each of us are like a piece of jigsaw puzzle, finding what is planned for us, finding our perfect job, our perfect soulmate, our perfect house, our perfect car etc. And with that, we can 'fit' in correctly as all the pieces fall into place.

But no, life didnt work this way. We are have our 'sharp edges'. And when we tried to fit into our perfect job, our perfect soulmate the sharp edges pierce thru. We wounded ourselves; we hurted others.

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. Fiction, conflicts, forced or difference to surface. That is when, we need to work together to rub off the sharp edges. And as time passes, the sticking out edges become smooth and round.

WORDS POWER

Words carry far much greater power that most of us are not aware of.

Words of encouragement bring strength.
Words of hope bring faith.
Words of love bring bond.

Words that hurts kill.
They kill friendship, family bonds, love ones and all others random people.

Speak only of love, faith and hope.
That is what we should all do. It didnt proof anything or savage any issues with words that complains, grumbles, or stabs others. What do we achieve by doing so?
Revenge? sweet sweet revenge? or just letting out our anger? our fustration?
And after that? we lost our friends. we lost our hope. we lost our direction.


I'm sure there are better way to let go of the tension inside. Running, swimming, and physical activites that let you sweat it all out helps. =)

KEYS

keys are impt in our life.
We all have our valuable house keys which unlock the door to our comfortable home.
Our '21 years old key' which mark as a milestone in our years of live.

But some keys are better not to have. These keys which i lately come in procession of - office keys.
Which mean
1) you are the first to reach the office.
2) you are the last to leave the office.
3) you found yourself in the office on a nice sat and sun.
